Overview

  • Take on a pivotal role as an Estimator within a leading construction company, contributing to diverse commercial projects and ensuring accurate cost evaluations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver precise estimates for ground-up and renovation projects across various industries.
  • Engage in budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting the financial success of projects ranging from $2M to $20M.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Analyze project requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Research and source materials, subcontractor services, and other resources to support project needs.
  • Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve project cost management and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records for all estimation activities and related processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure seamless integration of estimates into project planning.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools, with strong analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Managerial experience in overseeing estimation processes and team coordination.
