Overview

  • Lead and oversee K-12 architectural projects, ensuring innovative and functional educational environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful designs tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships and project success.
  • Manage project phases from conceptual design through construction documentation and implementation.
  • Utilize advanced design tools like Revit, Adobe Suite, and Bluebeam for precise project execution.
  • Contribute to the evolution of architectural concepts, aligning them with educational goals and standards.
  • Promote a collaborative and innovative culture within the architecture department.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards for optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead K-12 architectural projects, managing design processes and construction phases effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams across multiple locations to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop design documentation, including presentations and construction documents, using industry-standard software.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of design concepts to meet educational and aesthetic goals.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and teamwork within the architecture team.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in K-12 building design; 15 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Preferred experience with Newforma Project Center, SketchUp, and MS Office 365.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal, graphic, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
