Overview

  • Lead diverse commercial construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met efficiently.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, monitoring expenditures to maintain financial targets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all phases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address project needs and maintain effective communication.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to management and clients.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, from planning to delivery.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee project budgets, tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to meet project requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Resolve project-related issues and mitigate risks to maintain timelines.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and challenges.
  • Promote collaboration among team members to achieve project goals effectively.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, safety regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools is highly advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure.
