Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the CFO to update and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Conduct testing for business changes and system enhancements to optimize operations.
- Assist in external audits, providing broker-dealer records and necessary documentation.
- Draft and review management information and financial statements for accuracy.
- Ensure proper allocation and ledger posting of accounts payable invoices.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Process payments to vendors and affiliates using advanced financial systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in financial services.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS standards is essential.
- Experience with SAP input and reporting is highly preferred.
- Series 99 and Series 27 FINOP certifications required within specified timelines.
- Familiarity with trade processing systems and enterprise systems is advantageous.
- Strong ability to collaborate with back-office support units effectively.
- Flexibility for calls and video conferences outside regular business hours.
