Overview
- Lead financial operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting and processes.
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen controls and deliver actionable financial insights.

- Drive process improvements across accounting and operations, enhancing workflows and automation.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and manage external audits effectively.
- Optimize ERP systems for improved reporting and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial strategy discussions to support growth.
- Support payroll management, cash tracking, and accounts receivable processes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for quality and efficiency.
- Manage payroll operations, including monthly 401k contributions and compliance.
- Develop and enhance accounting policies, controls, and documentation to align with growth.
- Optimize ERP systems and financial processes to improve reporting and automation.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial reporting with business objectives.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning and forecasting efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in leadership roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing tax filings, including state and sales taxes.
- Strong ability to lead teams, improve processes, and communicate effectively across departments.
- Experience in growth-stage technology companies is preferred.
- Must be able to work on-site two days per week.
