Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the business development efforts of a leading financial services firm, supporting fundraising initiatives across diverse credit strategies.
  • Engage with institutional investors, coordinate roadshows, and maintain CRM systems for effective client management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality materials and responses to stakeholders.
  • Prepare customized presentations, RFPs, DDQs, and pitchbooks to support client engagement.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to enhance business development strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and macroeconomic data to inform sales messaging and positioning.
  • Support ad hoc projects related to investor segmentation and distribution operations.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in investor prospecting, engagement, and pipeline tracking, ensuring effective follow-ups and coordination.
  • Maintain investor lists and manage CRM systems for accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and updates.
  • Prepare and customize client presentations, RFPs, DDQs, and investor reporting materials.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support client targeting initiatives.
  • Monitor daily news feeds and industry trends to assist with prospecting and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the IR team to manage consultant database reporting and updates.
  • Support fundraising strategy projects and improve standard processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree required, with 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in investor relations, business development, or asset management roles is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or DealCloud, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
