Job Description

Overview

  • Support financial operations by bridging Corporate and Fund Accounting teams, ensuring compliance and streamlined processes.
  • Manage accounts payable processes for investment funds, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoice handling.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain centralized payment systems and reporting.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including vendor bank account verification and payment processing.
  • Perform month-end close activities, ensuring accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement workflow improvements and technology solutions for enhanced efficiency.
  • Train and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Contribute to standardized reporting to meet organizational needs and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee fund accounts payable processes, ensuring proper invoice coding and compliance with agreements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, resolving queries and reconciling open invoices effectively.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and accurate application of fund reimbursements.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy.
  • Provide cash flow projections to support financial planning and operations.
  • Evaluate and improve workflow processes, implementing technology solutions for efficiency.
  • Develop reference tools and process documentation for accounts payable operations.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with 10 years preferred in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proven expertise in accounts payable processes and fund accounting operations.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
  • Experience with treasury functions, including bank reconciliations and payment processing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and technology solutions for financial operations.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
