Overview

  • Lead and oversee construction projects for a prominent general contractor with annual revenues exceeding $250M.
  • Coordinate project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and maintain quality standards.
  • Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout project phases.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential project challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Utilize advanced project management tools and methodologies to optimize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues to maintain schedules and quality.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with plans.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project teams, clients, and external partners.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
