Overview
- Respond to customer requests for equipment issues as part of a dedicated team.
- Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs on ATMs and POS equipment.
- Handle 4-8 service calls daily within assigned territory, ensuring timely resolution.
- Utilize provided tools and repair kits to address technical issues effectively.
- Work in diverse environments, including banks, retail establishments, and outdoor settings.
- Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and product functionality.
- Participate in on-call rotations and adapt to varying schedules, including overtime and weekends.
- Maintain service parts inventory and complete required documentation accurately.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform electromechanical repairs on ATMs, including card readers, printers, and device resets.
- Conduct installations, including setting up equipment, pulling cables, and mounting devices.
- Resolve technical issues such as paper jams, card jams, and bill jams efficiently.
- Inspect and troubleshoot retail POS equipment, EV chargers, and related peripherals.
- Prioritize and plan service calls to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
- Follow established procedures for key, alarm, and combination control processes.
- Communicate estimated arrival times and service updates to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve service goals and maintain high standards.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience; 3 years preferred in a related field.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces around equipment.
- Proficiency with computer operating systems and smart communication devices.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record per company standards.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territories, including during inclement weather.
- Ability to pass background and drug testing as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
