Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for various entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct tax planning and research to optimize client tax strategies within legal frameworks.
  • Provide audit representation and support for federal and state inquiries and compliance reviews.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, fostering professional growth and adherence to quality standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active CPA license with 5-10 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory services.
  • Proficiency in preparing corporate and individual tax returns, including C-Corp, S-Corp, and partnerships.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for effective client interaction and problem-solving.
  • Experience with tax software such as QuickBooks and ProSeries is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of tax compliance requirements for estates, trusts, and diverse entities.
