Overview

  • Manage physician compensation plans, ensuring consistent application of policies across the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and administer compensation models for physicians and advanced providers.
  • Analyze and report data to support compensation plans and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to interpret and administer compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to compensation policies.
  • Maintain complex databases and detailed records of compensation activities.
  • Provide insights on market trends and pay strategies impacting provider compensation.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and recommend changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and documentation to support compensation plans and audits.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead market studies for physician and provider compensation, including data analysis and salary recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain systems supporting compensation plans, ensuring data integrity.
  • Provide guidance on job design, organizational structure, and qualifications.
  • Prepare physician compensation scorecards and adjustments based on productivity data.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate physician payments and perform audits.
  • Research external factors impacting physician compensation and recommend strategies.
  • Translate technical financial terminology for various audiences within the organization.
  • Support compensation-related meetings and provide information to stakeholders.
  • Develop streamlined processes for reporting and budgeting activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics and compensation management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with high discretion.
  • Experience with complex databases and financial reporting systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to compensation policies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
