Overview
- Provide bilingual medical assistance to patients, enhancing their lifelong well-being and health.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Discuss symptoms with patients and obtain vital signs for clinical assessments.
- Administer medications and vaccines, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Perform phlebotomy, diagnostic tests, and specimen collection.
- Sterilize and clean medical equipment to maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain examination rooms, ensuring readiness for patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers for coordinated care.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of active certifications.
- Follow standard policies, allowing for interpretation and independent discretion.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program or certification.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with a proficiency exam required.
- Experience in medication and vaccine administration preferred.
- Knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience is advantageous.
- Value-based care experience is preferred.
- Local travel may be required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
