Overview
- The Investment Operations Associate oversees cash and liquidity management across private debt funds, ensuring operational accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborates with junior team members to review loan allocations and fundings, driving process improvements and workflow automation.
- Acts as a key escalation point, providing guidance and leadership to team members while ensuring timely execution of processes.
- Coordinates transactions with external loan managers, administrators, and custodians to maintain operational efficiency.
- Supports the investment team during transaction closings by responding to information requests and conducting analyses.
- Assists in the production of ad-hoc reports and day-to-day operations of the private debt platform.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review loan allocations to ensure compliance with policies and portfolio guidelines.
- Oversee cash-related instructions, including MMF subscriptions/redemptions, FX transactions, and liquidity monitoring.
- Coordinate with external managers and custodians for transaction execution.
- Drive workflow enhancements and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide analytical support to the investment team during transaction closings.
- Assist in generating reports and managing daily operations of the debt platform.
- Promote team collaboration and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree with at least 4 years of professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of cash and liquidity management, FX hedging, and capital call processes.
- Experience in middle office/investment operations within asset management.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with private debt asset class and fund accounting is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and influence team members.
