Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in managing daily operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction and property maintenance.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, handling utility transfers and lease documentation.
  • Maintain contractor schedules and oversee repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to streamline administrative processes.
  • Ensure compliance with property management policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support, including record-keeping and documentation management.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor property expenses and assist in budget preparation.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of property presentation and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate tenant move-outs and move-ins, ensuring smooth transitions and utility management.
  • Maintain and update contractor schedules and charts using Excel.
  • Dispatch contractors for repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion.
  • Provide administrative support to the property management team, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues effectively and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with property management policies.
  • Monitor and report property expenses, assisting in budget preparation.
  • Ensure properties are well-maintained and meet high standards of presentation.
  • Support the team in executing various administrative and operational tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent experience in property management or administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other administrative tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thick skin and ability to work under micro-management conditions.
  • Experience in tenant relations and contractor coordination preferred.
  • Knowledge of property management policies and procedures is a plus.
