Overview

  • The Trade Business Analyst role supports multiple customer groups and therapeutic areas, leveraging advanced statistical methodologies to measure marketing impact effectively.
  • This position requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with industry-specific data sources.
  • Utilize sophisticated analytics for marketing mix modeling, ROI analyses, customer profiling, segmentation, and predictive modeling projects.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to develop business tactics and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support brand planning, field force evolution activities, and contribute to the forecasting process with actionable insights.
  • Ensure effective communication and application of analytical results to internal stakeholders for optimized decision-making.
  • Build knowledge of analytical methodologies and share expertise with departmental peers to enhance overall capabilities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct advanced analytics to support brand teams and customer channels in resource allocation and promotional strategy development.
  • Lead the development of targets and segments aligned with business strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to integrate marketing strategies into sales force call plans effectively.
  • Interpret and communicate analytical results to internal stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Support brand planning activities and contribute insights to the forecasting process.
  • Document and communicate analytical plans, ensuring clarity and alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure high-quality analytical methodologies are employed.
  • Adapt to evolving business processes and execution needs within therapeutic areas.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business/Data Analytics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years' experience in analytics with relevant data sources and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in developing, documenting, and communicating analytical plans effectively.
  • Strong expertise in statistical methodologies, marketing mix modeling, and ROI analysis.
  • Experience with customer profiling, segmentation, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate analytical results effectively.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry data sources and commercial models.
