  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
  • Provide strategic insights and guidance to support business growth and scalability.
  • Oversee accounting, finance, treasury, tax, and risk management functions.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards across all financial operations.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Shape operational strategies and manage relationships with banking and bonding partners.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Contribute to the organization's strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide financial leadership and strategic direction to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal controls.
  • Manage treasury, bonding, insurance, and risk management functions effectively.
  • Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
  • Lead process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting accuracy.
  • Support new market opportunities and strategic initiatives through financial analysis.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Shape organizational strategy and contribute to long-term scalability and growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA, CCIFP, or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including executive-level roles.
  • Experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of project accounting and WIP reporting.
  • Proficiency in managing treasury, bonding, insurance, and risk functions.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities across all organizational levels.
