Job Description

Overview

  • Lead nursing and clinical departments to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Develop and implement hospital-wide nursing care programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to achieve strategic objectives and operational excellence.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in nursing services through evaluation and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee staffing plans and personnel management to meet patient care needs effectively.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to enhance nursing care quality and efficiency.
  • Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for nursing services.
  • Lead initiatives to improve clinical services and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and job descriptions for clinical departments.
  • Prepare budgets and manage resources for nursing and clinical services.
  • Evaluate staffing needs and recommend changes to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and hospital leadership in strategic planning and performance improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Implement ongoing education and training programs for nursing staff.
  • Monitor patient care processes and outcomes to ensure quality and safety.
  • Lead initiatives to integrate current research findings into nursing practices.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and professional development among staff.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in hospital settings.
  • Current RN license and certifications as required by state regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills in clinical environments.
  • Experience with inpatient and outpatient surgery settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and performance improvement processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets for clinical services.
