Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and long-term sustainability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic financial initiatives and drive impactful decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to optimize resource allocation and performance.
  • Manage treasury operations, ensuring liquidity, compliance, and effective asset/liability management.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Ensure accurate and effective communication of financial data to stakeholders, including board members and senior executives.
  • Support audit and regulatory processes, maintaining compliance with financial standards and requirements.
  • Contribute to the organization's mission-driven goals through strategic financial planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and manage comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Create and refine financial models to support strategic initiatives, including investments and operational expansions.
  • Analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee treasury management, optimizing liquidity and ensuring compliance with financial covenants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with organizational objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the FP&A team, promoting professional development and operational excellence.
  • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of financial systems and tools.
  • Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A, treasury management, or financial strategy roles.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, FP&A software, and advanced analytical tools.
  • Expertise in asset/liability management, liquidity optimization, and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of team development and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication abilities, capable of presenting complex financial data effectively.
  • Experience in nonprofit financial management is highly desirable.
