Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations, to diagnose and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and perform minor surgical procedures in accordance with professional guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals.
- Evaluate diagnostic data, including lab results and imaging, to inform clinical decisions.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and universal precautions.
- Provide guidance and support to medical staff and contribute to team development.

Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Current New York State medical license and DEA certification.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification required within 18 months of hire.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and computer applications, including MS Word and Outlook.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend schedules effectively.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
