Overview
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care, ensuring patient health and wellness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated and high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and perform minor surgical procedures as necessary for patient care.
- Generate referrals for specialized services outside the scope of primary care.
- Evaluate diagnostic data, including lab results and imaging, to guide clinical decision-making.
- Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and universal precautions in clinical practice.
- Engage in departmental meetings and contribute to organizational goals and strategies.
- Provide on-call services on a rotational basis, addressing urgent patient needs effectively.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Current New York State medical license and DEA certification.
- Board eligible or certified in area of specialty; certification required within 18 months of hire.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and computer applications, including MS Word and Outlook.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Flexibility to participate in rotating on-call and weekend schedules.
