Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct history and physical examinations, diagnosing and counseling patients on treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications following state regulations and professional guidelines.

- Evaluate patient data, including reports, labs, and diagnostic imaging, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Participate in departmental meetings and assist in updating protocols and practices.
- Ensure compliance with infection control plans and universal precautions.
- Maintain unrestricted medical licensure and board certification, fulfilling clinical privileges requirements.
- Utilize electronic health records and computer systems proficiently to enhance care coordination.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Current New York State medical license and DEA certification.
- Board eligibility or certification, with certification required within 18 months of hire.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and computer systems, including MS Word and Outlook.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Minimum one year of experience in a clinical setting, with two years preferred.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
- Ability to work on-site with flexible scheduling, including rotation and on-call duties.
