Job Description

Overview

  • Install, maintain, and repair advanced security systems, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and provide tailored solutions for clients.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients to customize security systems to meet specific needs and preferences.
  • Stay informed about advancements in security technology and integrate best practices into your work.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service reports for accountability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Install and configure security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access controls.
  • Conduct site visits to assess client needs and recommend optimal security solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of security systems.
  • Replace defective parts and ensure systems are calibrated to client specifications.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on system usage and customization options.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all tasks performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all operations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in electronics or electrical systems preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security system installation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in electrical circuits, wiring, and low-voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with security system manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical issues independently.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations as required.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in diverse environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
