Field Service Technician

Overview

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of diverse locking systems, ensuring optimal security and functionality for various applications.
• Handle emergency lock repairs, including lock picking and replacement of specialized security hardware.
• Maintain and manage Master Key Systems, ensuring accurate records and seamless integration of hardware changes.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of locks, vaults, and other security equipment to ensure reliability.
• Service and calibrate banking security equipment, including vaults and safety deposit boxes, adhering to industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members on specialized security projects, contributing to organizational success.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and certifications, maintaining a professional and secure work environment.
• Utilize advanced tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and precision in lock maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair locks and security systems, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Perform emergency lock repairs, including lock picking and hardware replacement, restoring access promptly.
• Manage and update Master Key Systems, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless integration.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance on locks, vaults, and security devices to ensure operational reliability.
• Service specialized banking security equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Calibrate and adjust tools and equipment used in lock maintenance tasks, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex security projects, enhancing team effectiveness and outcomes.
• Adhere to safety certifications and training requirements, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training in locksmith services preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in locksmith services; 10 years preferred.
• Proficiency in handling advanced locking systems, including Medeco High Key Systems.
• Strong knowledge of lock types, repair techniques, and emergency lock picking.
• Ability to maintain accurate records for Master Key Systems and hardware changes.
• Experience servicing banking security equipment, including vaults and safety deposit boxes.
• Commitment to safety certifications and compliance with training requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in security maintenance tasks.
