Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair various lock systems for buildings and containers, ensuring security and reliability.
  • Respond promptly to emergency lock repairs and replacements, minimizing downtime and enhancing safety.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and calibration of locks, vaults, and related security equipment.
  • Service specialized banking equipment, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of master key systems and hardware updates for accurate tracking.
  • Collaborate with management on special projects and contribute to the development of innovative security solutions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and company policies to maintain high service standards.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in locksmithing or related fields are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in locksmithing or security equipment maintenance; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in handling various lock systems, including Medeco High Key Systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment maintenance and calibration effectively.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills for managing master key systems and hardware changes.
  • Ability to work on-site and respond to emergency repair situations promptly.
