Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing guidance and feedback.
- Coordinate patient care activities to ensure timely and effective treatment plans.
- Monitor department operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Lead training sessions and departmental meetings to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization.
- Develop and implement policies to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
- Current RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CCRN preferred.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in acute care settings.
- At least two years of supervisory or management experience in healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Open Heart, A-Lines, and Balloon Pump procedures preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
