Overview
- Lead clinical operations at a healthcare center, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational efficiency in a collaborative environment.
- Oversee and mentor a team of primary care providers, fostering professional growth and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with hospitalists and transitional care teams to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive financial performance and membership growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining licensure and certifications for the center.
- Contribute to the development of a positive clinical culture and operational synergy within the center.
- Participate in recruiting and training initiatives to build a strong and cohesive clinical team.
- Work onsite during regular business hours, ensuring availability for patient and team needs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide direct patient care, managing acute and chronic conditions with a focus on older adults.
- Supervise, mentor, and train primary care providers to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Lead weekly clinical meetings to drive improvements in patient care and operational processes.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to enhance center performance and membership growth.
- Engage with hospitalists and transitional care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care coordination.
- Ensure timely documentation and adherence to value-based care protocols and standards.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, certifications, and licensure requirements.
- Drive the development of a collaborative and positive clinical culture within the center.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active licensure in the state of employment.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with 10 years preferred, in relevant medical practice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare documentation tools.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and supervising medical teams.
- Ability to travel locally for market needs and nationally for training purposes.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills as required by center needs.
