Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and mentor primary care providers, fostering clinical excellence and team cohesion.
- Coordinate patient care for acute and chronic conditions, ensuring comprehensive documentation and follow-up.
- Conduct leadership rounding and facilitate team meetings to enhance engagement and communication.
- Collaborate with care teams to address patient needs, including those unable to visit the center.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding initiatives for clinical staff and patients.
- Ensure effective communication with hospitalists, specialists, and other stakeholders to streamline care delivery.
- Drive improvements in clinical quality metrics, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction scores.
- Support operational leaders in achieving financial targets and membership growth objectives.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) with active licensure in the state of employment.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with preference for 10 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant healthcare applications.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally for training and recruitment purposes.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to effectively manage clinical teams.
