Overview

  • Lead clinical operations and oversee primary care teams in a dynamic healthcare setting, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
  • Provide direct patient care while fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Drive clinical quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Mentor and develop clinical staff, promoting professional growth and a culture of excellence.
  • Engage in strategic planning to align clinical operations with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise and mentor primary care providers, fostering clinical excellence and team cohesion.
  • Coordinate patient care for acute and chronic conditions, ensuring comprehensive documentation and follow-up.
  • Conduct leadership rounding and facilitate team meetings to enhance engagement and communication.
  • Collaborate with care teams to address patient needs, including those unable to visit the center.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding initiatives for clinical staff and patients.
  • Ensure effective communication with hospitalists, specialists, and other stakeholders to streamline care delivery.
  • Drive improvements in clinical quality metrics, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction scores.
  • Support operational leaders in achieving financial targets and membership growth objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) with active licensure in the state of employment.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with preference for 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant healthcare applications.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally for training and recruitment purposes.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to effectively manage clinical teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining certifications.
