  • Oversee preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing activities, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and the center's long-term success through innovative initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Medical Director and administrative team to align nursing operations with organizational objectives.
  • Champion a culture of excellence, safety, and patient-centered care within the surgery center.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage nursing staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage for surgical procedures and patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies to enhance patient care quality and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, including AAAHC requirements.
  • Coordinate with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and lead continuous improvement initiatives to elevate care standards.
  • Provide support in the operating room and assist during breaks as needed, ensuring uninterrupted care.
  • Lead efforts to achieve and maintain AAAHC accreditation, driving organizational excellence.
  • Facilitate effective communication among staff and stakeholders, promoting collaboration and shared goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred for leadership roles.
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in surgical or critical care settings.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles, such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Director.
  • Comprehensive understanding of surgical processes and operating room dynamics.
  • Knowledge of AAAHC accreditation processes and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
