Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review complex business and individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships, delivering tailored tax solutions to meet their unique needs.
  • Identify and research tax issues, proposing solutions and documenting findings comprehensively.
  • Train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and professional growth within the organization.
  • Recognize opportunities for innovative tax services, implementing strategies to enhance client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients across industries, addressing unique tax challenges and providing strategic advice.
  • Utilize tax research software to support decision-making and ensure compliance accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Current CPA, EA, or equivalent certification is mandatory for this role.
  • Minimum of four years of tax experience in public accounting or a similar environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn firm-specific software tools.
  • Experience with ProSystems Engagement and tax research software is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex tax issues effectively.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods to meet client deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and professional development.
