Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to identify therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and strategies for home care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines in all therapy practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental goals.
  • Mentor junior staff and support the development of therapy students.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; advanced degrees are highly desirable.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional physical therapy experience; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, patient care strategies, and advanced modalities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is considered an asset.
