Overview
- Support attorneys and professionals in diverse legal practice areas with administrative expertise.
- Prepare, revise, and manage legal documents, contracts, and correspondence accurately.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain electronic records and document workflows for efficient organization.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal court filing requirements.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to clients and team members.
- Work on-site with a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and revise legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with precision.
- File and record legal documents and financing statements in compliance with regulations.
- Manage state and federal court filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for attorneys and professionals.
- Maintain electronic records and document management systems efficiently.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to clients and team members.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Utilize legal time and billing systems to manage administrative tasks effectively.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum two years of transactional legal assistant experience; five years preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with Federal and South Carolina State Court filing systems preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic workflow systems and legal time and billing systems.
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated and self-directed individual with problem-solving capabilities.
