Overview
- Support portfolio administration by ensuring accurate reconciliation of financial records and transactions for fixed income securities and bank debt.
- Collaborate with custodian banks to resolve discrepancies and maintain precise portfolio data integrity.
- Engage in monthly reporting and market value reconciliation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in process optimization initiatives to enhance portfolio management systems and workflows.
- Utilize advanced systems such as Advent Geneva, Electra Reconciliation, and IVP Security Master for operational tasks.
- Monitor and book flows for separately managed accounts (SMAs) and mutual funds with precision.
- Ensure timely booking of fees and income transactions to maintain portfolio accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reconciliation processes and address time-sensitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform cash and position reconciliation between internal records and custodian banks to ensure data accuracy.
- Resolve discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams and external custodian banks effectively.
- Monitor and accurately book financial flows for SMAs and mutual funds.
- Utilize Advent Geneva for booking fees and income transactions promptly and accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly reports, including market value reconciliation, for stakeholders.
- Engage in ad hoc projects aimed at improving reconciliation and reporting processes.
- Leverage systems like Electra Reconciliation and IVP Security Master to enhance operational efficiency.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address portfolio administration challenges effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, preferably in finance or related disciplines.
- 1+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on reconciliation and fixed income securities.
- Proficiency in systems such as Advent Geneva, Electra Reconciliation, and IVP Security Master is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing portfolio discrepancies effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time-sensitive requests efficiently.
- Exceptional decision-making capabilities to support operational and reconciliation tasks.
