Overview

  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of impactful staff training programs to elevate organizational effectiveness and workforce capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design innovative training solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor training coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness using performance metrics and implement enhancements to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements through centralized training documentation and policies.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in training methodologies to integrate innovative practices into programs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify training needs and opportunities for workforce development.
  • Develop engaging instructional materials and innovative teaching aids to enhance learning experiences.
  • Coordinate and oversee training sessions delivered by internal and external instructors.
  • Manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with multimedia teams to produce high-quality training videos and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Establish partnerships with external organizations to expand training opportunities and resources.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance training services and workforce development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in training development, preferably within developmental disabilities agencies.
  • Three years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing effective training programs and policies.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address challenges and optimize outcomes.
