Overview
- Lead technical accounting and financial reporting for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and disclosures for quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
- Coordinate external audits and internal reviews, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Conduct technical accounting analyses for lease transactions and impairment assessments.
- Draft technical accounting white papers and provide training to the accounting team.
- Develop and update accounting policies to align with compliance and business needs.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
- Mentor junior professionals, fostering skill development and team collaboration.
- Collaborate with valuation firms for purchase price allocations and stock-based compensation valuations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant corporate or public accounting experience, with 5 years preferred.
- CPA designation or progress towards completion is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP and accounting systems; familiarity with MRI software is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
