Overview

  • Lead and oversee diverse commercial construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor project budgets, tracking expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures to achieve financial targets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all project phases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address project requirements and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and updates to management and clients.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to promote teamwork and achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, from initial planning to successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring progress aligns with established timelines.
  • Oversee project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to meet project specifications and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Resolve project-related issues and mitigate risks to maintain project timelines and objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges.
  • Promote collaboration among team members to effectively achieve project goals and milestones.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in construction management are preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, safety regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools is highly advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities under pressure.
