Job Description

Overview

  • The HR Generalist role provides an exciting opportunity to shape HR strategies and support organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession initiatives.
  • Engage in policy development, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company standards.
  • Support HRIS operations, maintaining data accuracy and generating actionable insights.
  • Participate in performance management programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Contribute to benefits administration, including open enrollment and vendor coordination.
  • Work closely with employees and managers to address HR-related inquiries effectively.
  • Assist in HR projects such as training development and policy updates.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Act as a primary contact for HR policies, procedures, and program inquiries.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and investigations.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including job description creation and onboarding facilitation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including employee communications.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance HR service delivery.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports for decision-making.
  • Participate in HR projects such as engagement surveys and training initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 2 years in a generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Experience in healthcare settings is a plus but not required.
