Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct patient interviews to gather symptoms and obtain vital signs for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform diagnostic screening tests and document results accurately for healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and vaccines in accordance with certification guidelines.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
- Follow standard policies and procedures, exercising discretion and professionalism.
- Participate in health screening programs and adhere to organizational health protocols.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred.
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of relevant healthcare experience.
- CPR certification and compliance with health screening requirements.
- Proficiency in administering medications, vaccines, and performing phlebotomy procedures.
- Knowledge of Value-Based Care, HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and patient experience standards.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in an on-site healthcare setting.
