Project Manager – Multifamily

Overview

• Lead multifamily construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize project success and maintain financial control.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines throughout project phases.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address challenges and maintain project momentum.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Monitor project performance, implementing corrective actions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Prepare and present detailed project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Manage procurement processes, securing materials and services within budget constraints.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, address issues, and ensure compliance.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders, resolving conflicts and ensuring project alignment.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure project continuity.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of project activities, milestones, and outcomes.
• Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols, cultivating a culture of safety awareness.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing multifamily and mixed-use construction projects successfully.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for efficient planning and execution.
• Ability to work on-site and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless operations.
