Overview

  • Lead and manage commercial construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables effectively.
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve optimal project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards across all project phases.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, addressing challenges proactively to maintain momentum.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and updates for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of commercial construction projects.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements throughout construction activities.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to meet project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing delays or issues to maintain schedules.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring quality and timely delivery of work.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
  • Experience with subcontractor coordination and vendor management.
