Job Description

Overview

  • Support strategic, data-informed fundraising approaches by managing pipelines, portfolios, and relationship strategies effectively.
  • Collaborate with Development teams to ensure timely prospect movement and accurate forecasting.
  • Facilitate prospect management meetings and provide actionable insights to enhance donor engagement.
  • Analyze prospect progression and support documentation and reporting for strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with gift officers to maintain balanced portfolios and promote consistent donor movement.
  • Monitor solicitation details and support revenue forecasting through pipeline analysis.
  • Ensure alignment of processes and data standards between prospect management and gift administration.
  • Develop and implement reporting tools and dashboards to operationalize prospect management strategies.
  • Provide training and documentation on best practices for prospect management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Act as the primary liaison for Development teams, ensuring coordinated cultivation efforts.
  • Track donor movement and provide recommendations for timely and strategic progression.
  • Facilitate prospect management meetings and update CRM systems accordingly.
  • Support portfolio management strategies across various fundraising units.
  • Monitor prospect pools and ensure effective outreach and distribution.
  • Collaborate with gift officers to track prospect activity and enable informed actions.
  • Analyze solicitation details to support accurate forecasting and decision-making.
  • Ensure consistent application of prospect management frameworks to enhance fundraising effectiveness.
  • Lead projects to translate strategies into actionable processes and workflows.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in prospect management, development operations, or fundraising analytics.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, RENXT) and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting fundraising data and supporting accurate forecasting.
  • Experience implementing processes, maintaining data accuracy, and managing operational workflows.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and collaborate effectively across stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of standard development practices and solicitation processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
