Overview

• Collaborate on intercompany charge reviews and reconciliations to maintain financial consistency.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial projects, enhancing organizational capabilities and growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and submit regulatory filings, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to update and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Conduct testing for business changes and system enhancements to optimize operations.
• Assist in external audits, providing broker-dealer records and necessary documentation.
• Draft and review management information and financial statements for accuracy and reliability.
• Ensure proper allocation and ledger posting of accounts payable invoices.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Process payments to vendors and affiliates using advanced financial systems and tools.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in financial services.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS standards is essential for success.
• Experience with SAP input and reporting is highly preferred.
• Series 99 and Series 27 FINOP certifications required within specified timelines.
• Familiarity with trade processing systems and enterprise systems is advantageous.
• Strong ability to collaborate with back-office support units effectively.
• Flexibility for calls and video conferences outside regular business hours.
