Overview
- Support financial operations by managing accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports to aid strategic decision-making processes.
- Assist in audits and budgeting activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with accounts payable and receivable teams to streamline financial transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile corporate credit cards, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
- Utilize SAP for effective financial data management and reporting tasks.
- Contribute to forecasting and financial analysis to support organizational goals.
- Provide documentation for internal and external audits as required.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Ensure accuracy of the general ledger and proper transaction recording.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate accounts payable and receivable processes for smooth operations.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and records.
- Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Run standard cost processing and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain organized records.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.
- Fluency in Korean language is preferred but not required.
