Job Description

Overview

  • Support financial operations by managing accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports to aid strategic decision-making processes.
  • Assist in audits and budgeting activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with accounts payable and receivable teams to streamline financial transactions.
  • Maintain and reconcile corporate credit cards, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
  • Utilize SAP for effective financial data management and reporting tasks.
  • Contribute to forecasting and financial analysis to support organizational goals.
  • Provide documentation for internal and external audits as required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure accuracy of the general ledger and proper transaction recording.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed financial statements and reports.
  • Coordinate accounts payable and receivable processes for smooth operations.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and records.
  • Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Run standard cost processing and ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain organized records.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.
  • Fluency in Korean language is preferred but not required.
