Overview

• Lead construction projects as a General Superintendent, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.
• Oversee multiple project sites, implementing effective management strategies and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to align on requirements and resources.
• Conduct site inspections, mitigate risks, and enforce corrective actions.
• Mentor field staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
• Develop site-specific construction plans and schedules in collaboration with engineers.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient cost management and resource allocation.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management, addressing issues and proposing solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Implement and maintain strict safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
• Coordinate with teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align on project requirements and resources.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify risks, and enforce corrective actions.
• Mentor superintendents and field staff, promoting a culture of safety and high performance.
• Collaborate with managers and engineers to develop construction plans and schedules.
• Review and approve project budgets, ensuring effective cost management.
• Provide regular project status reports, addressing issues and proposing solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with 15 years preferred.
• Proven track record as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling.
• Strong background in construction safety, with certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, or CSP preferred.
• Proficiency with construction management software and familiarity with BIM and Lean principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
