Overview

  • Lead innovative interior design projects across diverse sectors, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project goals.
  • Develop creative programming metrics, layouts, and material selections to create functional and visually appealing spaces.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce detailed plans, specifications, and renderings from concept to completion.
  • Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior designers, fostering professional growth and maintaining high-quality standards across projects.
  • Utilize advanced design software to create accurate and compelling visual representations.
  • Contribute to organizational growth by leading large-scale projects and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Define and communicate the design vision, ensuring alignment with project context and client expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive space planning strategies and programming metrics tailored to project requirements.
  • Coordinate material selection and finishes to achieve cohesive and functional designs.
  • Lead client presentations, effectively conveying design concepts and obtaining actionable feedback.
  • Collaborate with project teams to produce detailed design documentation and construction-ready plans.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Art in Interior Design or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in interior design, with 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, and 3D modeling tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff effectively.
  • NSDIQ or ASID certification preferred, or equivalent professional credentials.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
