Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and reconcile interfund transactions across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain general ledgers, prepare journal entries, and oversee monthly closings.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and fund allocations.
- Upload and review weekly payroll entries using advanced ADP systems.
- Prepare detailed financial statements, including trial balance and balance sheets.
- Assist with cash flow management and daily reconciliation of deposits.
- Support annual filings and audits, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop accounting structures for new entities within enterprise systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Minimum of three years of professional accounting experience, with strong GAAP knowledge.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Oracle systems preferred.
- Experience in non-profit or Taft-Hartley plans and grant accounting is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
