Overview

  • Contribute to business development efforts for a dynamic financial services firm, supporting strategic fundraising initiatives across diverse credit strategies.
  • Engage with institutional investors, coordinate impactful roadshows, and manage CRM systems for seamless client relationship management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling materials and responses tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Prepare customized presentations, RFPs, DDQs, and pitchbooks to drive effective client engagement.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to refine business development strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and macroeconomic data to craft persuasive sales messaging and positioning.
  • Support ad hoc projects focused on investor segmentation and distribution operations optimization.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, blending remote flexibility with on-site collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in prospecting and engaging institutional investors, ensuring effective follow-ups and pipeline tracking.
  • Maintain and update investor databases, ensuring accurate CRM system management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver timely and high-quality materials for investor communications.
  • Prepare and tailor client presentations, RFPs, DDQs, and reporting materials to meet specific needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to support strategic targeting initiatives.
  • Monitor industry developments and news to inform prospecting strategies and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the investor relations team to manage consultant database reporting and updates.
  • Support fundraising strategy projects and contribute to process improvements for operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree required, with 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in investor relations, business development, or asset management roles is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or DealCloud, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
