Overview
- Supervise and lead accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee accounting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations.
- Review and approve journal entries, work papers, and financial statements for accuracy.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve accounting efficiency and workflows.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and reporting requirements.
- Utilize advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for financial reporting and presentations.
- Provide insights and analysis to support management’s financial decision-making.
- Mentor and train accounting staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting experience; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in GAAP accounting techniques and general ledger systems.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
