  • Lead fund accounting operations for diverse investment portfolios, ensuring compliance and precision in financial reporting.
  • Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Oversee accurate preparation of financial statements and performance metrics for stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to fund governing documents and industry regulations effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to maintain strong professional relationships.

  • Support new fund transitions and setups with expertise and precision.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead client engagement teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of accounting services.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for accuracy.
  • Review and validate capital call and distribution calculations with precision.
  • Collaborate with audit, tax, legal, and banking teams for seamless operations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members, conducting performance evaluations.
  • Assist with onboarding new funds and transitioning processes effectively.
  • Address ad-hoc client requests and participate in special projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards consistently.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in fund accounting or administration.
  • Preferred 10 years of experience with managerial responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and fund governing documents is essential.
  • Knowledge of waterfall allocations and relevant accounting software is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications are required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities are necessary.
