Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review and validate monthly and quarterly NAVs for hedge and private equity funds to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and expense allocations, supporting seamless fund operations.
- Oversee the calculation and payment of management and incentive fees, ensuring proper allocation and reporting.
- Respond to investor inquiries and provide detailed performance reporting to maintain transparency and trust.
- Lead fund audits and tax filings, collaborating with service providers to meet compliance requirements.
- Participate in regulatory filings, including Form ADV and Form PF, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational scalability and efficiency.
- Attend fund board meetings and address related requests and documentation to support governance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in accounting or finance is required for this role.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of public accounting experience, ideally with fund audits at a reputable firm.
- Proven expertise in fund accounting, tax processes, and regulatory compliance is essential.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
