Overview

  • Lead operations at a state-of-the-art surgery center, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance surgical services and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Oversee financial performance and develop strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct daily operations of the facility, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal patient care.
  • Act as a liaison between the governing board, medical staff, and clinical departments.
  • Monitor adherence to internal controls, purchasing plans, and regulatory compliance.
  • Negotiate contracts and establish pricing standards for surgical procedures.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions for staff.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive orientation and training programs for new hires.
  • Collaborate with the medical director to assess and improve surgical services.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and oversee infection control programs.
  • Represent the facility in corporate meetings and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required for this role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical leadership; 5 years preferred.
  • Executive-level expertise in ambulatory surgery center operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory standards and accrediting bodies.
  • Proficiency in financial management and operational budgeting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
